Nigel is the Founding Partner of Eempat Kapital, which is based in Indonesia and focuses on Technology, Renewable Energy, Consumer and Logistics sectors. Nigel was previously a Partner at Saratoga Capital from 2012-2015, focusing on direct investments in Southeast Asia primarily Indonesia. While at Saratoga, Nigel led the Fund’s investment into one of the largest consumer automotive businesses in Indonesia and also the investment into one of the largest retail businesses in Indonesia. Prior to Saratoga, Nigel was the CEO of Maybank Private Equity. While at Maybank, Nigel was a key person in establishing Maybank MEACP, a US$500 million pan-Asian PE fund focused on clean energy. Prior to Maybank, Nigel headed up his own investment firm called Chartered Trust, where he originated and closed a few proprietary investment deals in the Real Estate, Resources, Energy and Environment sectors.

Previously, Adrian had co-founded and run successful digital startups in both China and Indonesia. Adrian graduated from Cambridge University with a BA and MA in Economics and was elected a Hawk in recognition of his contributions to University and National level Judo. He obtained his MBA from Stanford while studying in the dual degree MBA & Education MA program and is a Kauffman Fellow Class 21.
