Vice President, Head of Investment Solutions South East Asia
Victor Jung is the head of South East Asia investment solutions business unit, based in Singapore.
Prior to joining Partners Group, he worked at KB Asset Management representing local pensions and institutions global investments within the private markets sector.
In Red Mango, Victor was the global director of international business in charge of overseeing overall international businesses and expansion.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in international
relations and politics from Korea University in Seoul. He is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member.
Chris Teoh brings with him over 14 years of experience in private equity, investment banking and consulting across North Asia, South East Asia, Europe, and Australia. He is currently responsible for investments in the Philippines and Consumer sector across the ASEAN region.
Prior to TAEL, he was with buy-side institutions such as Khazanah Nasional Berhad (Malaysia), CDIB Capital (HK), and IFC (World Bank Group) (Beijing & Mongolia). Mr. Teoh also spent a 3-year stint in investment banking/corporate finance roles with ABN-Amro (HK) and Ernst & Young (Beijing).
Mr. Teoh graduated with a Master of Applied finance from Macquarie Univeristy/Tsinghua University (joint programme), and a Bachelor of Science from the Univesity of Melbourne.
Lim Rongyang joined ACA Investments in 2012 and is a member of the Asia (ex-japan) team. He brings with him over 10 years of experience in private equity and corporate finance across North Asia and South East Asia. Based in Singapore, Mr Lim focus in the healthcare and consumer sector across Singapore, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
During his time in ACA, Mr Lim has successfully invested in one of Singapore largest medical clinic chain’s development business and assisted them in their spin-off of its Healthcare assets on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
Mr. Lim received a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.
Wayne C. Farmer
Managing partner of a boutique advisory firm and a private-markets professional with over fifteen years of originating, leading, and structuring pan-Asia investment transactions (focus on Southeast Asia/China) and selected cross-border/global deals. Originated approximately USD 3 billion of deal flow, closing USD 422 million in sell-side advisory, captive buy-side general partner and buy-side limited partner (fund and direct) roles across multiple industry sectors/asset classes; another USD 1.97 billion of this deal pipeline was closed by third parties in the market.
Lead the firm’s capital/fundraising relationships, industry market intelligence gathering as well as deal execution for clients – including expectations management, strategic/operational advice/planning, corporate and board restructuring, staffing and deal/corporate documentation.
Successful track record of launching corporate, entrepreneurial, and public policy ventures with a high level of dedication to outcomes.
Strategic Advisor to Cobalt Equity Partners, a Pan-Asia focused PE fund manager based in Hong Kong.
Engaging speaker and an articulate policy advocate practiced in government relations, with an established commitment to the development of ASEAN through volunteer President’s role at the Canada-ASEAN Business Council.
John is a serial entrepreneur and investor, the co-founding Partner and chief architect of Hatcher+, a next-generation, data-driven venture firm that utilises a massive global database in combination with AI and machine learning-based technologies to identify early-stage opportunities in partnership with leading accelerators and investors, worldwide.
Over the past four years, John has led capital raising at Hatcher and Hatcher+ and completed numerous venture investments in early-stage companies, including ASYX, DocDoc, Dropsuite, Heardable, Invit, Inzen Studio, SocialCops, ThoughtRiver, and Telr – and syndicated over US$100Mn of additional debt and equity co-investment. IPOs and trade sales in which he was acted for the majority shareholder include Dropsuite (ASX:DSE) and Inzen Studio (ASX:ICI).
Founder & Managing Partner
LN is founder and managing partner for Lensbridge Capital and the Asian Investment Partner of Cisco’s Global Infrastructure Funds Team. He has held several leadership roles in the private equity/venture capital investments sector over the last two decades and overseen capital raise and deployment in alternative assets of over US$2.0b across Europe and Asia Pacific.
His leadership roles have included co-founder/Head of Asian office of Ardian Investments (formerly known as AXA Private Equity), Chief Investment Officer for Asian private equity/infrastructure at the Nomura Group and Head of Capital Solutions/Business Development at Terra Firma Capital Partners.
He started his private equity career at the European LBO team of Apax Partners in London and prior to that worked for several years in management consulting with Arthur D. Little in N. American and Asia Pacific.
LN holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and a B Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He is a citizen of Singapore and a recipient of the coveted National Talent Scholar award from the Government of India.
